If your design is finished and the show is in Malaysia, what you need next is execution on the ground: someone to read the drawings, tell you honestly what is buildable within the space and the build-up window, produce it, get it into the hall, and take it down afterwards.
That is the scope this page covers. It is deliberately different from our exhibition booth contractor service, where the design starts with us. Here, the design direction stays with you and your client.

What these have in common is that the creative decision is already made. The risk sits in production and on site, in a country where you are not standing.
How a build-only project runs
- You provide the brief. Drawings, 3D visuals, artwork, dimensions, the venue, the booth number and the exhibitor manual issued by the organiser.
- We review it. Buildability against the space, materials, what the venue and organiser require, and what the build-up period realistically allows. If something in the design will not work within those limits, you hear it at this stage rather than on site.
- Production. Fabrication proceeds against the scope you have approved, to the drawings as agreed.
- Venue execution. Transport to the hall, installation and coordination on site, within the organiser’s build-up schedule.
- After the event. Dismantling and clearing the space once the show closes.
Scope is agreed project by project. Not every job needs every stage — some clients want production and installation only, others want us on site from move-in to move-out.
What we need from you to quote
- the show name and dates;
- the venue, hall and booth number;
- booth size, and whether the space is raw space or shell scheme;
- the design files — drawings, 3D visuals and artwork;
- the organiser’s exhibitor manual, if you already have it;
- which parts of the scope you want us to carry; and
- your deadline for the design submission, which at some venues falls 30 days before build-up.
Send what you have. Missing pieces can follow, but the drawings and the venue are what let us give you a useful answer rather than a placeholder number.
Proof, stated plainly
7P Concepts has been engaged on a build-only basis, where the design came from elsewhere and our scope was construction and on-site work. One example is the ARCHIDEX 2022 build shown below.
One project is not a claim to unlimited capacity, and we would rather be straight about that than oversell it. What it does show is that the working model — someone else’s design, our production and site execution — is one we have run before.
We have also delivered across borders in both directions: DTS Group at FHA 2023, Singapore EXPO and Monitor ERP System at ITAP 2023, also in Singapore, alongside Malaysian shows at KLCC and MITEC.
Working across time zones
Practical things that matter more than they sound: one named contact rather than a queue, replies in English, and decisions put in writing so nothing depends on a call you were asleep for. Where a venue or organiser needs a submission, we prepare the drawings for it and work to that deadline — the MITEC requirement for stand drawings 30 days before build-up is the one that most often surprises overseas teams.

Can 7P Concepts fabricate a booth from a design we supply?
Send the drawings, the venue and the show dates and we will assess the fabrication and installation scope. Whether a design can be built as drawn depends on the space, the materials specified and the build-up period the organiser allows, which is exactly what the review stage is for.
Do you work with agencies rather than end clients?
Yes. The design direction and the client relationship stay with you. Our scope is the local execution.
Do you handle shipping, customs or import clearance?
That is not part of the scope offered here. Tell us what is being shipped in and when it lands, and we will plan the build and the site work around it.
Which venues do you cover?
Exhibition venues in Kuala Lumpur and across Malaysia, including KLCC and MITEC, plus selected cross-country projects. Recent cross-border work includes FHA 2023 and ITAP 2023 at Singapore EXPO.
What is the difference between this and your contractor service?

How far ahead should we come to you?
As early as the design is settled. Venue submission deadlines are the binding constraint rather than production time alone — MITEC, for example, requires stand drawings at least 30 days before build-up day.
